WAV Strategies developed and executed a statewide earned media and advocacy strategy that helped block legislative and executive action which would have banned and over-regulated pharmacy benefit managers – the engagement included building a statewide coalition of over 200 organizations and stakeholders including unions, who supported preserving New York’s health insurance laws that allowed unions, businesses and other entities to continue benefiting from the drug cost savings provided by their health insurance providers.
